This number is a genuine number but it has been spoofed by unscrupulous people. I called the number back and they have advised of the above and to ignore the call coming from that number. The genuine people are lovely, it’s the people using the number (spoofing it) that are the problem

Reported to Barclays, local police and action fraud. Urging anybody else to do the same. Seemed like a scam to me. Automatic message said there were suspicious charges againt my bank account and invited me to press 1 to cancel these charges. Banks don't work like that.
