DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER Fraud call. Pretending to be BT with a fault in the internet. I happen to have a fault so nearly fell for it, tried to get me to download a programme which would have infected my computer and obtained bank details. Have informed BT the callers were rude and offensive when I questioned their activity.
A female called from this number at 11.16 am 28/9/21 Asking if I knew that £600 had been taken from my account using my Mastercard As soon as I queried this the phone went dead. I called back and a foreign sounding male answered. as soon as I mentioned the missing £600 the phone went dead again. As it happens I do not have a Mastercard. Be warned

They tell you they want to shut down your Broadband for 5 days due to errors - blah blah. Probably after they will try to get access to your pc in some way. Don t know cos I crashed out and phoned BT who said it was a scam.
