They are called Connect. They refuse to take no for an answer. Even when the other numbers they call from are blocked they use a different number. They actively harass and do it in the full knowledge of what they are doing. Report them and their number on the ICO s website. It only takes two minutes and will hopefully result in their MD personally bankrupted for blatant harassment.

This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. BULLSHIT. I requested a withdrawal from my pot and was told that I had to pay £12000 tax to release the funds. Dangerous scam

I think this was a fraud check call from Bank of Scotland that I answered and was then transferred to the customer service dept which wasn t answered promptly. I hung up, but this resulted in a 27p charge for me. Not a lot, but a good scam if you manage it for a lot of people!

This is the local council office primarily in response to an issue that you would have raised.
They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. They then asked for the "Reference" number of the card the big number along the top. I asked them to verify my BT account number (I m on Virgin Media) but they did nit see

Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service.
