I answered but didn't say anything as could tell it was a machine. Line then went dead. Suspected spam/scam.
They said I had won a discount holiday but wanted me to answer all personal questions. Told them I was busy as something didn't see right Too pushy and too nosey.

This number together with other number within the range of 07957 422000 to 07957 422999 is being used by the National Crime Agency (NCA) scammers trying to target UK citizens to get them to reveal data to them and probably to ripped off your Bank details. I have had 4 calls in the last 24 hours from 4 seaparate numbers within the above range. I was already aware of this scam so I did not press 1 after listerning to the automated message. Normally I don't answer unknown numbers but expecting an engineer.
I didn t answer. Tried to return the call but it when straight to an automated message, stating that they were calling me about my recent claim, that I didn t make.

SCAM purported to be from Royal Mail saying charge due for parcel delivery with a link to website. I doubt Royal Mail would use text messages like this, and how would they have your mobile number anyway? Don’t follow link even if you are expecting a parcel.
SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. These people seem to cold call. They are from SCOOT based in Middlesbrough. Amazing really as we are on the telephone preference service and don't take unsolicited calls.
