"Orlando" called from "You Compare" requesting to speak to Mr [Mobile Phone Owners Surname" regarding life insurance policy which they are reviewing (I don t have a life insurance policy). Advised that he is based in Dakar, Bangladesh and that they use an automatic dialler with my telephone number being obtained from an opt-in database. Yet another call from somebody telling me about a parcel delivery which I had not ordered and to press one for details. Why do I have to press 1 in order to find out? Rang off and blocked the number.

SCAM warrant issued by HMRC. I gave a false name and bogus address and they still managed to find my file!

Fraud had a call from this number claiming to be from tax office it was an automated call asking me to press 1 this was not from the tax office
Offered nuiscance call blocking service. Claimed to be from National Call Blocking Registry but this is an American government service, not BT. I decided to let her call back tomorrow. Meanwhile block the number.
