Scam callers making out they are from TalkTalk which they are not .

This bloke just scared me with heavy breathing when I returned missed call via 1471. Really shook me up. Hope someone sorts him out. Bt told me I would have to pay to bar this number! What is the world coming to :(

If this really is HSBC s fraud dept they are staggeringly incompetent and l am by no means convinced that it is. Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check . May be genuine, but they asked me to repeat the same information re my account so many times that l was suspicious, and would urge caution

Did not recognise the number so did not answer, went to answer phone so they hung up. Blocked the number now.

Some debt collection company using fake local area codes, you ring back and number doesn't exists.

I politely told him that I had told his "National Consumer Survey" that I wasn t really interested in taking part but - as I always do - wished him a good shift. His accent was thick and he either said good luck mate or you arsehole. I will cut you if we ever meet you ignorant cunt.

I get at least three calls a day from this company who transmit automated tele-marketing messages about me qualifying for a government funded boiler. The number is 01604 761440.Most of the messages go to my answerphone and while on holiday recently they completely filled my recording space. I am TPS registered and they still persist in calling so I will be taking further action. Clearly this company is breaking the law and I am feeling both harassed and agitated by the annoyance. Also had calls from 0161 201 0040 ( Jubilee & Wilson Accounts Dept ). Typical pattern: "We called you x-months ago & you agreed to place advertising with us in a crime prevention booklet" & when I denied the call their first line was, "But we have recorded evidence" (great business approach to customer relationships & satisfaction!). I have requested a copy of the recording several times & they agreed to send it, but it never arrived. They have sent invoice; payment reminders; continuous phone calls
