Literally just received a call from this number about 17:45hrs then checked it here as I do with all Unkown numbers nowadays! Which is a pain in the *! I'm glad these sights exist to check a number as they will even call now with a mobile number! Yes, this is an automated "appointment verification" call from Cambridgeshire NHS (Addenbrookes) to verify and offer you options on an appointment that you or someone in your family has booked. All automated, like voter registration - "Press 1", "Press 2", etc. System will ring you several times in attempts to get answered. Ringing back on 1 Nov 2013 got me an automated answer and then switched me to the verify options. Very clever system, really - set up NOT to work with answering machines (pointless). Not
