SPAM - Rude and aggressive man on the phone. Tried selling me electric for a unit we'd just moved into. When I told him I'd sorted it myself directly he tried to say I was paying over the odds. When I told him I definitely wasn't he shouted down the phone at me and hung up... if they're going to try and sell you something you don't need then at least make them friendly!

Either phone rings and there is an engaged tone when I answer, or I answer it and it seems to be from a foreign call centre threatening debt collection, court and bailiffs when no one in my home even uses 3! I ve asked them 3x on the phone, 2x by webform, and 3x in writing to never contact me again, but keep being ignored. Not acceptable. Thankfully I had misread the number and wondered if it was another scam call so I waited for the other to speak first. There was no response and the call was ended. After checking online (on other sites), I have now blocked this number.

SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Harassment calls
Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)

Called at 5:15pm 6.7.23. Calling about solar panels being installed in your area and are you the owner of the house. I didn't go any further, just said 'Goodbye' and put the 'phone down. I am pretty sure that had I held on they would have wanted to arrange to come and see property about installing solar panels. I class this as 'dangerous' especially if they get through to vulnerable persons.

These clowns told me they were from the tax office. They informed me that a Policeman was 45 minutes away unless I paid a recalculated tax bill. They started shouting when I wouldn t give them my bank details. Put the phone down on these chancers.

It's some sort of debt company scam. Say they are not calling but they are because I have no debt and would never have approached them
Seems to be people working from home via a switchboard as all I heard in the background was this person's kids running riot as he started explaining to me that he was doing market research... Hung up and blocked, didn't seem to be trying to sell me anything but not interested.
Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. Attempted to make a complaint to the TPS and their website says "noting to do with us try the information commissioner". Who is paying for the TPS and why? They seem to be a waste of space.
