This is a scam which is going under the name of Amazon Banking so be warned Amazon dont do phone calls.

Caller admitted he was ringing from a call centre, but was polite. Doing market research. Didn't know why this number came up (it's a local number to me).

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. Had several calls from this number on our mobiles. I rang them back and ascertained from them that they had bought a quantity of telephone numbers from various sources and their computer was ringing them trying to get a positive response to their FREE BOILER initiatave. They are based in Macklesfield SK10 1AF
