who rang me 01784423424? Salvation Army are calling on phone apparently to hand out grants for energy bills etc asap- b4 March ends. Although initially we thought it was a scam so I even rang my pastor who assumed the same .Turns out they really seem to be legit and are asking for bank details on the phone as they only have a short time to give the grants of £100 each house to vulnerable peeps on PIP etc I rang their HQ from number on official site and it all seems sound so far.

BE AWARE THAT THIS PHONE NUMBER IS COMMITTING FRAUD & ALSO USING PAYPAL TO DO IT!!!!!!!!
A text from this number is a scam. It suggests the text is from a family member who has damaged their phone, and is calling from a friend's phone asking you to call back on a WhatsApp link.

*SCAM* Amazon Prime Renewal! (Spoofed number - Probably someones home number!) Obviously A SCAM - I don't have 'Amazon Prime' account. Recorded message/menu, that sounds totally REAL!! NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! Best Advise: NEVER answer call from an UNEXPECTED number you DONT KNOW, let answer phone take it. Saves you a lot of hassle!

got a call from this number saying they are calling from an insurance review service and asked for what life insurance I have and when was it last reviewed and what benefits I'm getting. After a few seconds stopped talking and I had to hang up. Very annoying.

Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
Got called, my name and email were known to the caller.. claimed the FTX bankruptcy affected me and suggested i could regain my funds in crypto.. wanted to know if i had a wallet. I'm pretty sure i do not have any money outstanding, or lost any due to any bankruptcy. John from UK driveway company, a real human being with a genuine English accent, calling my TPS registered landline, thus making this call illegal, and I shall be reporting it to TPS and the police for immediate action, given that he rang on 2 consecutive days, with me finally deciding to answer on the 3rd call so add harassment to the charge sheet!
