Two unsolicited calls to my little-used mobile same day. Both recorded as missed calls and no message left.
Our number is registered with the TPS. This call came at 09:50 on Monday. Recorded (or synthesised) Northern English (Huddersfield?) male voice. Claimed to be calling from Amazon about illegal/suspicious "activity on your account", as a result of which a charge of over £1,000 to "the card linked to the account" had been stopped. A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites.
