I visited the EE website and asked in the community and lots off EE customers have received exactly the same text message, and they have all got exactly the same amount of "points" which is not an EE scheme, and when you search the number it came from it states the number is on the EE network NOT from EE themselves.
Foriegn guy called said he was from a company called Certik, said I had invested in a company called go365 in 2022, sums of 250 then 500 and then 1000 pounds, he said someone had stolen my identity and was using my identity to invest. What did i want to do? Option 1, do nothing and lose the "money" option 2 they claim the money for me and presumably take a fee then delete all my personal data that that company holds. rang 11-05-2022 claiming to be BT internet we just hung up. we live in the Leeds LS25 area.
The usual scam call saying they are bank security saying you have spent £300 on Amazon and £1000 from overseas, blah blah, the usual spiel. Banks would never do this.
