Answered the phone for the first time since unplugging it due to nuisance callers, I am now on a do not call list, and it sounded like a young girl. No answer immediately when I said hello? Then it sounded like she asked if I had wet lips. I 1471 d it and pressed 3 where I got an automated message saying it s for marketing and they are unable to take my call.
Missed call, I called back Accident Claim line greeting.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1617685xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, life insurance - insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

I also had calls from 01672565719 twice this morning. One female caller one male, a lot of 'office'noise in the background. The first caller said they were from BT and they would be disconnecting me from the Internet because of faults on my computer, or something like that. It was actually difficult to understand them. I put the phone down. The second call I took slightly further by telling the man that he was not from BT. He said I was a fool to think that so I told him he was the fool and also a criminal

Asian male caller called me today, for the fourth or fifth time this week (mostly at the same time). Has used a different Anglicised name each day (including Joan once). Twice he has told me that hackers were breaking into my computer and that I need to let him clear out their software and twice he has told me that my licence had run out and I need to renew it or he would cut my computer off.
