cold caller using local dialling code

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. Totally untrustworthy, if they get any acknowledgement from calls they will sell your details to other telephone scammers.

we paid for goods that never came even though they promised they would. Then they stopped answereing the phone - a scam company !!!!

This number calls at least 4 times a day and when I blocked it I started getting calls from 01618147559.

Female caller with asian accent claiming to be from BT. She said they were going to disconnect my internet as they have been receiving messages showing it is infected with malware via facebook. I pointed out I don t have facebook and have anti-virus software. She eventually hung up.
