I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. The scary thing about this call was it was a local number to me, first time I've seen that, the other thing about that is it means its only relivent to people in the 0115 area, not nationally like the old scam num

Said they were from O2 which i have no contract with. And try to ask about my spending.

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

01614646608 Thickly-accented, hardly intelligible Asian person, claiming to be EE; and offering 40% discount on new phone or contract. Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.

Just had a call from 07477462680 from 'HMRC' threatening legal action and to press 1 to speak to an officer. Obviously a scam.

Automated call from Amazon regarding a charge on my account - I don't have an Amazon account.

SCAM. Said they from BT and that my broadband was not working. I know it was as I was online and told them, also mentioned that I thought the call was some sort of scam. Got told that my mindset needed sorting. Redialled the number and it’s not in service.

25/04/2023 Call from this number. Claiming to be Barclays Bank, very poshly spoken female telling me fraudulent activity on my account etc. kept them busy answering my questions, until they put down the phone. Quite sophisticated scam - beware

Fraud SPAM SCAM tried to ring me 3 times but my call blocker flagged them up as unsafe so declined there calls but they rang back straight away again & again & again I know of nobody in or around the london area so this number has now been reported to my network as a scammer & blocked fully from ringing my mobile ever again!

A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.

Someone who claimed he's from NatWest bank. But to me that was a scammer.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. This number 33975819984 called yesterday. Number belongs to scammers, message claimed money had been transferred from account to foreign country. Treat as Dangerous / Scam. Number comes up on phone as coming from France. A second number 33759286792 rang today & hung up immediately when i answered, also came up as France & approx 24 hours from other scam call.

Automated Scam. Tries to kid you they are some sort of fraud squad, that amounts are being taken out of your accounts and want you to assist them in the matter. Imbeciles but potentially dangerous imbeciles.

It’s a scam. It’s a person that will tell you it’s renting an apartment and you have to pay in advance. Don’t fall for that scam.
