When asked the caller couldn t tell me the address of the company although eventually said it was Erskine House in Clydebank but she didn t know the street etc. I did ask how she found her way to work but the answer was that she walked! Apparently there was "funding available" and when asked who funded it she said "scrappage windows".

I made the mistake of ordering a kitchen appliance from Boots Kitchen Appliances / AO. Within a day I d received 8 sales calls. Do not give these people your number. Not even for "delivery purposes". They will instead use it to spam you relentlessly until you eventually block them. They even switched to using a "Private" number when they realised they had been blocked. Couple off missed calls off this number and I don't live in London and am aware it is a landline. Very wary of answering calls from unknown numbers these days!

Survey call from Indian caller who said his name was Alex. I said, I don't think your name is Alex, and he hung up.

Had a call from this number today and when I answered there was total silence.

Automated voice said "This is Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue". I hung up reckoning it was a scam with the robotic posh voice. Also, its known as Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for a start! Anyway, beware and best avoid.
