Most likely Wescot. Halifax had passed my credit card debt to them two deal with so was expecting a call.

How do we stop this unjustified, annoying, harrasing type of call? They should be punished punitively and the money paid to those who receive their nuisance calls.

Odd call from Mike at TPL . Said he was an agent looking to sell landlords. Wouldn t go in to detail; took a while and some prodding to just get that. Wouldn t explain what his company was. Quick to get off the phone after getting an email address (generic one given, of course!).

Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). I was asked to call the number for a validity check. Number rings and then when answered goes quiet. My number is withheld, so that s why they will not talk. These are Agents, probably working for Energy Consultants. The prices they get for you will include a significant commission. They will lie and harass you into agreeing contracts.
