This person named copeland called re: bing verification of business listing I said I was already verified but had a duplicate listing, any how this person was rude, overbearing and aggressive, and refused to listen to any thing I said saying (he was going to hang up as he didnt like how i spoke to him) imagine that, I have the call recorded and saved on file.

Constant calls from this number 5 times a day minimum have had to block the number now getting beyond a joke asking for someone I never heard of and I ve had my payg sim for 3 years!!

"Virginmedia support department" - about the sixth time they have called since Christmas plus one from Talk-Talk. Told me I had a problem with my router. Complete scammers. I wasted 20 minutes of their time by displaying ignorance of computing and miskeying input. Sounds as if it is a bank scam call as it was a recorded message warning me of suspicious transactions to companies which I hadn't used before. As you would expect from a recorded message, it didn't ask for myself or my wife in person or to try & authenticate me.
Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.

SCAM - SMS pretending to be from Royal Mail asking to reschedule a missed delivery via link 'package-deliverys.co'. I didn't go further to find out the URL behind.
HMRC scammers calling, claiming that people owe tax money and will be arrested. Threatening voice but ludicrous message. Do not press 1 - just hang up and get on with your day.

I was called by this number, but I missed the call so I called back. A Lady answered the phone and claimed it was HMRC; she wanted to take my personal details so she could direct my call, however I declined to give my details. Later in the day I received a further call, when I took the call it was a computerised message asking me to contact HMRC on the number 02034671887. I did, a gentleman, I answered, saying HMRC. I asked him what the call was about, he wanted my details which i refused to give.

Asian person said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Had my surname and flat no/postcode. Said they can stop scammers calling - know that the TPS cannot do this with numbers that may look like UK nos but are routed from Asia. He started to ask whether I still paid by Direct Debit (TPS is free!!!) so told him I didn t want to speak to him and hung up.
