It keeps ringing the landline and hangs up before answering... Doesn't leave a message... I don't know the number, considering it a scam caller...
Think this was a scam, it took a while to connect and then went through to a call centre. I asked who it was and then it hung up.

UK Number 7442644606 Caller plays an automated message saying 'Your National Insurance has been compromised in Wales etc...Before we take any Legal action against you for its misuse, talk to our officer". This seems highly suspicious as there have been no notification whatsoever for the same via either postal-mails or emails etc.

SCAM. Came up as local number supposedly we had an iPhone delivery due to us which we haven’t. Recorded message asking for £500 so we hung up. Don’t answer this number.
Another no response when call answered number. At least a nuisance, very probably cold calling sales or scam.

Had a call from this number saying she was from ee offering 45% off told her I was with o2. 3 minutes later the same woman rings on a different number with the exact same pitch but said she was from o2.
Received a call from this number today.. Rang 3 times and call dropped. Suspect it's a robot dialler logging answered calls.

This number is from a scammer
Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Judging by other reviews, they’re looking scam money from you. This is a new direction. SCAM

I had a call today from them, they are a recruitment Company.
Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from "The Phone House Company" and wanting to upgrade me to a new iPhone 11. I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Called me twice this morning on my mobile. No message left. If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. Whatever they were trying to sell me hasn't worked and I'm happy about that at least. Number blocked.

This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.
