**SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

Seems to be one of these broadband scam outfits - claims to be from Virgin then BT.

Incoming call purporting to be from VISA saying money had been taken out of my account and transferred to an international gambling organisation. This is a scam.

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. I then messaged them saying “who is this?” They responded at midnight saying “He’ll be there in the morning to meet you, code on the gate is the same. Get to bed!” I blocked their number as soon as they sent that message. It has really freaked me out and I’m scared that someone is going to come to my house.

Pretending to be Evri driver Thomas who couldn’t find a safe place to leave my parcel. Looked plausible, but I had a similar one from DHL at the weekend.

Spam never trust especially for flight tickets

Well spoken young male claiming to be from BT business and looking to review my phone usage and how I could reduce my costs. When I advised him that this was a residential line he said that as it was still being used for a business he could probably still save me money. When I showed disinterest he advised me that I would need to have a conversation with them soon as BT were discontinuing analogue phone services next year and we would lose our service if we didn't transfer to digital. I hung up.

Twice so far this number has called me they said hello then they hung up The calls lasted for 9 seconds and 11 seconds respectively Annoying Im waiting for a third call Might be a scam If it was a legit call they would not have hung up My advice is to let them speak let them say who they are let them do all the talking and say nothing
