I was called by number 090432929, not 09043967, and this number is from Great Britain? I don't know anybody from Great Britain! We keep getting calls from strangers who most likely just want to sell us something, but I don't even pick up the phone anymore when we receive such calls and the number is not from my hometown. For that reason I once again don't know who exactly called us this time, but it's annoying!

Total menace 2 or 3 calls a day at present; "have you had an accident etc etc??". Asked to be taken off their list, bloke took details, next call received within the hour.
I've been contacted by 5 other similar numbers all starting with '020806843**', male voice said "hello, hellloooo" and then my name before hanging up. I'm blocking all the numbers but they're changing the last two digits. Harassing behaviour and more than likely some type of scam.

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!

'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share

I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number
