They wanted to get me my petrol voucher but it was such a messed up call, reeling all this stuff off. I thought I m not getting involved again. I put the phone down.

Kirby Vacuum (allegedly - I suspect some form of UK distributor) calls for many years, refuses to remove my details - I have complained to ICO and suggest others do likewise. Also uses 01257 -88XXXXX numbers

did my usual for a number I don t know, answered phone, but kept quiet, waited for the other end to say something. as usual, a couple of seconds and the machine at the other end hung up.

Mobile rang and I answered it, know one answers. Hope it isn't a scam. I'll check numbers before answering from now on.

Missed the call, anyway, before seeing these comments. "Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

I received called this number pretending to be from Lowri back and that they were advise by my gas provider to change my meter, I called back lowri beck and my gas provider and they didn t provide any such instructions. BIG time SCAM
