Keep calling everyday they now have around 5 different numbers
I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number

I received a call from this number today with a message that my master card had been used abroad for a £600 purchase. I was asked to press one to confirm payment. I terminated the call and phoned the number back to be told that the number did not exist. The person was female with a very clear voice and English accent.
Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

iv had 2 calls from this Indian the first he didn t even say where he was from or even verify my name but he was desperately after my d.o.b, post code etc. after a couple of minutes I hung up and he rang straight back saying apologies for connection but I replied "oh that s my fault I needwd to sync to my pc so I can pun point your location to come and see you face 2 face you thieving con man" and before my next breath he was gone n hasn t rang back since. RESULT!!
