SCAM Calling and avise there was a problem with our electric meter. Something to do with getting the meter point reference mixed up. Wanting to confirm our meter point reference number. This call sounded dodgy. The caller was not from our Electric Supplier.

Received call at 20:38 he did not give his name just said he was from Lloyds Bank regarding a recent enquiry I made, I don’t even Bank with Lloyds anymore. He went on to ask can I spare him sometime? I told him no and this sounded like a scam to me then ended the call One other point he did not sound very professional

Text message from PayPal saying my account is blocked and to click a link. I went onto the PayPal app separately and there is nothing wrong with my account. I reckon this is a SCAM.

SCAM - told me someone had purchased an IPHONE 7 on my Amazon account, it was for £300 odd pounds, did I want help recovering the money or want the phone delivered. Lady with a very heavy Indian accent, didn't say if she was calling from Amazon or the Bank, but she could help stop the delivery and get my money back if I followed these steps. Call terminated.

Caller from what sounded like a call centre not based in the UK claiming to be from virgin media telling me my connection speed was too low and I would need to give them access to my computer. I'm not stupid so I hung up!

Called from Talk Talk Tech department to say to say a there is problem with our router. He required access to our PC. We are not talk talk customers and these calls are now coming in at a rate of 4 or 5 per day
Apparently from Alzheimers Society. But was super rude when I said I was too busy to talk at that time and to call back. Not great at all. They couldn't even remember who they were representing at first and had to take a moment to remember the charity name!
This number was pretending to beba BT call. It was a nuisance call from a foreign person. As in Asia resident. This person is a hacker. A mind game player, and should not have the right to phone people with the intention of bullying or playing mind games. It is a dangerous call.
SCAM Called saying they were from the Sky Protection Team and were offering me an update on insurance for Sky facilities I do not have, They also gave the number of 01273977418. I believe they have got information that I have sky phone and broadband and want to scam me for insurance that is unnecessary.

Been having these people call non stop twice a day! I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! I have told these people to stop calling me and that they have the wrong number. Don t worry a lawsuit will soon be in place for harassment since I have recordings of all communications.

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.
