Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. I strung them along. "Glad you called, I went through all the details with your colleagues weeks ago. They said I was due £8k in compensation'. 'Sir this is the 1st time I've called you.' Number showed as missed call and a blank voicemail was left for me - upon returning the call, the number apparently doesn't exist? I suspect its some spam mobile used for outgoing calls, that doesn't accept incoming calls.

I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.
SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.
