Claimed to be from Amazon and that someone had attempted to purchase about £500 of goods on my account. I hung up, put the number on my BT blacklist and checked my Amazon account which was OK.
So many look-ups, no left messages on ansaphone, in such a short space of time means scammers.
SCAM Southern english scammers currently calling themselves "fixed income team" also reached by calling 08003213781 (provided again to these crooks by Vodafone!). One of them has been pretending to be Evan Hanna of Merrill Lynch selling fake Diageo bonds.
Said I haven't paid my tax even though I'm not capable at this age.

Text Message Supposedly from DPD about driver attempting to deliver a package with invite to complete an 'application' via a link. No package reference number or similar in text - well dodgy.
TOTAL SCAM FRAUD, telling me 2 transactions were made on my visa mastercard account (which I do not have) for £700 and £900 and to press 1 after the tone. I checked my actual bank accounts and are all OK.
Banking SCAM Computer generated voice informs that your bank has received spending requests along the lines of £300 to Amazon and £1100 international transfer and asks you to respond by pressing buttons on your keypad. Standard unimaginative phishing attempt and easily spotted.

Had some rude Asian man answer the phone who told me my loan application had been APPROVED......Interesting because I hadn't made one with 'Now Loan' I proceeded to ask questions...this irritated the idiot on the phone who SHOUTED at me! spam call told me from housing and can fix anything in house for free. we are a dentist. told them registered to the ICO the man instantly apologised and hung up (we are actually registered to the ico) - they get scared as you can sue the company calling as we have not given permission for these calls
