Did not answer. Knew who it was as I’d previously told them that I’d recently changed my tariff with BG themselves and this included them supplying a smart meter which they will soon be doing. Only getting one because it was a good deal with the tariff. Told him to remove me from their records as it was pointless calling me. Certainly don’t want a second meter thank you!
Caller claims to be from by openreach and says there is an attempt to hack into our router, she wanted a Clsi number ... then gave me her customer care number 08000232023 which has been reported as a scam openreach number.
Had a call at 8.30am on my mobile - when I asked who it was from and regarding, the line went silent and then I was cut off - very annoying

Usual crap - recorded message about a car crash, and being out thru to her supervisor. When the guy asked me when the crash was, I asked him when he thought it was, as clearly knew something I didn't, and he hung up. Number now blocked (and doesn't receive incoming calls - was going to ask them about their PPI reclaim....)
PPI - claiming to be!! Was defiantly not local couldn’t even pronounce the name of the road I live in. Anyway blocked the number. Marked as Neutral because there is no Nuisance
