Pretending to call on behalf of the DVLA. Wanting to know if I owned a diesel car in return for compensation. I didnt confirm. Knew my first name. Got aggressive and refused to remove my details from the database. Threatened me with more calls. Blocked and reported.

man says he received a missed call from me , not true. Second call in two days saying the same thing but from a different number.

Keep getting hassled by these fake phone contract impersonators. You block them, they contact you on another number. Normal rigmarole, offer to cut your bill, then ask you for code sent via text. They have spoofed your details and with the code cam access your account. I gave them the wrong code about 5/6 times before they gave up. I try to waste their time for as long as possible, only pleasure from these calls.SCAM

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. SCAM - Call to my landline at 9.53 today. It was a pre-recorded message saying they were querying a suspicious Debit Card payment of £600 sent abroad. They did not say what bank or give any other details. I was asked to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to confirm. I hung up.

00918045708684 called 30 May 23 at 10:38hours. Female voice advised that my "visa account had been debited £1xxxx from a gambling ??? in California, press 1 to talk to our ???. or 2 to authorise payment ", hung on for a short while to hear if anything followed..... nothing so hung up.

Caller said they were from State Pension and asked too many questions. We just hung up. Please do the same for your financial security.

Fraud SCAM She wanted me to confirm , did I have some accident and when I said to whom you want to speak to and she repeated just say YES/NO to my question that did you have accident. I hung up the call and she called again and I said why shall I confirm any thing when you yourself do not know to whom you are talking to and she said just Shut-up and hung up the phone :( What a shame

Sophisctated scam pretending to be from Halifax fraud team, then trying to request security code from an online transaction made by them when you receive the security message from Halifax with a 6 digit code
