Different numbers starting with 020 8894 keep calling me and when I don't pick up they never leave a message. It's a number that purports to be in Trafalgar Square, but is in fact an Indian call centre.
Sounded vaguely feasible until I 1471 d the number and got this one-was expecting a local number as she said (and was perfectly polite, no aggression at all) she was calling direct from my local Tesco Express. But same as others-advertising in their local glossy, have never seen one and "from £15 per week" seems extortionate anyway for a 1/4 page. Anyway. this is the second number to ring to say that they were calling from virgin media and that I was having problems with my internet and my router was intermittent and had a fault. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY INTERNET AND THERFORE NO FAULT, SO THIS IS A SCAM CALL this is a scam call as the number shows it coming from local area and they do not have any offices in the area and they are situated in Manchester
They have called me 4 times in 2 weeks about energy saving products for solar panels. Each time we have politely declined their offer and asked to be removed form their call list. Today during asking to be removed from the list, they just put down the phone with me mid sentence.
Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

RECEIVED CALL ALTHOUGH TPS REGISTERED. 22.02.2013 AT 12:59 Received call from 01519091965. I have logged a complaint with the ICO "Information Commissioner s Office" http://www.ico.gov.uk/complaints/marketing.aspx I receive 1 to 2 nuisance calls per week although I am TPS registered.
