They call scammed People and promise them to be refunded, in fact they call themselves blockchain refund Department. But you have to transfer a percentage of the amount to a Bitcoin account, and from there they make it disappear in a moment. They can be very convincing, they are dangerous.

Received a call from this number early hours in the morning.
My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.
Rang and left no message.

I didn’t give her any chance to enter into a sales patter but just told her that I already had a local plumber and that any thoughts of selling me of her wares was destined for failure. SCAM Called about 14.30, 19/11/2021. Male said our house is on the NG Register & he was calling re: our loft insulation. I had to interrupt forcibly to ask, "What is the NG Register?" He said It's a Government Register about your insulation. [I can't find that Register on-line] He assured me that there was nothing for me to worry about.
