...they've called me three or four times this morning, silence on the other end, so I guessed it was a scam. Went out and came back to a message from 0800 668 1755 with instructions to call 'to have your details removed from our system'. Assume it's the same people, but I'm nervous about calling the 0800 number in case it's an added built-in scam of some sort. Any advice please???

Was telemarketing asking if I were interested in taking up a contract instead of using vodafone payg. Vodafone had text a week earlier to say they would call. I had a call from this as well. I did answer and they asked for my husband. I said they had the wrong number and put the phone down but it was an indian sounding man so obviously a foreign call centre. Dont ring them back even if you get through as sometimes you may get charged for the call.
