Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

This is the telephone number for Goudsmit Magnetics UK, who are based in Northern Ireland. This is not a scam number.
Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless. text message with phone # attempting to procure my debit card information. The message asked if I spent a certain amount at a nearby supermarket I shop at. Then they send me a URL to contact. I put in the url and my computer warned me the site was fraudulent and looking for credit cards, bank info, social security numbers etc. The entire page went red and warned me to NOT give any info to these people. I am still going to call my bank tomorrow morning - Better to be safe than sorry.

They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.
