A few months ago, I had invested part of my retirement savings into Bitcoin after I saw an opportunity to increase my income not fully aware of the dangers of it. I couldn’t withdraw or access my wallet, and I was told bitcoin cannot be traced or reversed. Rang my mobile which was in other room so rang off before I could answer. I rarely get spam on it as very few people know the number. Wondering how these got hold of it.

This is a scam number with an automated voice concerning an order from Amazon. I do not have an Amazon account. This call is likely from a scamming call centre in India. Not the first time I've been targeted, each time from a different number. I put the phone down. Recommended: programmes by Rav Wilding on BBC iPlayer and repeated on BBC1. His team have viewed such scams. The scammers get into your phone.
