Called about loft insulation. Said if was not a “selling” call it was a survey carried out to see if insulation was to standard. Then went on to say she Kew it was not to current standards but still denied it was a sales call. When I asked her to cut to the chase and not blindly following a script. She became abusive said I was a clever dick if I could see down the phone at what she was doing then she swore at me and hung up. Nice.
SCAM - Automated Robot voice claiming to be from the UK Inland Revenue (HMRC), demanding an instant phone call back. HMRC never do anything like that - they are slow and meticulous, doing everything in legal writing, never by phone. This is clearly a SCAM.

I decided to answer the call as I'd had numerous from similar numbers. English male voice who knew my name & address and said it's about my Hotpoint washing machine warranty that's about to expire. this company just rang and rang and rang, even when i asked them why they were calling me 4-5 times each day the caller just laughed and hung up - i just blocked the number after a few days had enough of the rude callers.
