I had a call on 1/30/2023 from 44+ 0141 628 5948 and the phone number I was a scam they was trying to see what company I was with on my sim card and they was trying to get my bank details because they said my iPhone been hacked and I need a new one and they wanted my bank details.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

Just recently used ebay for first time in years so very suspect and definately not a genuine order. DIdn't let him go any further asked how he got my number as I'm not a customer and haven't requested any telemarking calls. He said my network provider had given it to them and named them. Threw me a bit as it was my provider. I asked if he had my name then, he said he didn't know it, so they obviously have obtained a list from somewhere. I hung up at that point.

Man, claiming to be Jonathan Carter from Microsoft, rang from 01142998909. During the call the line dropped and when he rang back it was from this number. He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. When I refused he said he would have to block my computer from the broadband and I would have to come to Microsoft in Reading to have it unblocked
