Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

phone rang ,didn`t answer. tried ringing back but only a tone. sounds doggy, it is doggy.

Calling looking for someone unknown asking for phone number etc. to take the number off their records or cannot guarantee more calls will not be received. Ignored to start with but now being called several times a day.

Also had calls from 0161 201 0040 ( Jubilee & Wilson Accounts Dept ). Typical pattern: "We called you x-months ago & you agreed to place advertising with us in a crime prevention booklet" & when I denied the call their first line was, "But we have recorded evidence" (great business approach to customer relationships & satisfaction!). I have requested a copy of the recording several times & they agreed to send it, but it never arrived. They have sent invoice; payment reminders; continuous phone calls

Called from this number, left voicemail saying my account being reported to tax officier,l need to call them back to sort it out.

Claims company linked to insurance. Robot calling. ONly activates if it hears your voice, then you get a caller trying to get money out of you - dont answer!

Same as above. I had a call but no one was speaking at the other end!

Asian-sounding voice asked "Good morning, how are you today?" My wife asked the caller how he got our number (we re ex-directory). Caller hung up immediately.

This is really annoying me, the abuse im getting is unreal.
