Fraud This number claimed to be from HMRC Fraud department and I had just committed a criminal offence!! Needless to say, it is total rubbish. HMRC will never ever phone you, full stop!! and a mobile number is a bit pathetic anyway. Do not respond to this number!!!!

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! Text Message prank text saying guess who? When I asked who it was they said Grace I asked which one, but they tried to string me along as a game. I accused them of being kids mucking about and said I wasn't going to play their game. Didn't get a reply. :-D

I said if I wanted advice I would seek it myself, not from a company I didn't know. Internet search shows that there is a Rethink Energy Ltd, but no Rethink Energy Company.

I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.
BEWARE FRAUD/PHISHING. Got number from public info then leaves a message asking for the boss to call him back on 07561133885 - didn't leave a name, company name, email or anything - smells like a phishing attempt.

Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)
