Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. Terrible line in a stereotypical broken Asian accented English, "Hello, this is Dan from Technical Department of BT Open Reach". Hung up when I told him he was "a lying little scumbag talking bollocks".
I have had this number call me about once a day for the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer the line goes dead. I m assuming its an auto dialer and there s no agent available to take my call when the line connects. I have now barred them on my phone. Time wasters.
