I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. SCAM - some paki pretending to be from your internet company saying error messages. I always say I've a fault that means my router gets disconnected when someone's calling but string the scumbags along as long as I can.
