This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H

Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to tempt me into calling them back. An unknown number and unsolicited. I've recently had calls of this type daily around the same time and they're always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one. This number should belong to the First Target Recoveries (check more on http://www.firsttargetrecoveries.co.uk/) - a debt / loan company. They use this number as a green line - free-of-charge line for customers.

Rang me on my mobile apparently I had been involved in a traffic accident!!! I told the lady, "I don't drive" (I do), she hung up. Ambulance chasers avoid and block number.

Caller asked for Managing Director. When asked about the subject of the call told me that she could only disclose it to the Managing Director. After much irritable discussion it transpired that Nova Technologies were sending a Tablet. That it was a present. For free. Very strange call. All the hallmarks of a nuisance.
