Odd call from Mike at TPL . Said he was an agent looking to sell landlords. Wouldn t go in to detail; took a while and some prodding to just get that. Wouldn t explain what his company was. Quick to get off the phone after getting an email address (generic one given, of course!).

SCAM / SPAM rang me on house phone and automated message said it was my broadband provider (name not specified) and that they were going to cut it off due to illegal use. it went on to say press 1 to speak to someone.... blah blah blah, I hung up but did not ring my broadband provider from my house phone. by the way WHO CALLED ME I have no idea what automat and paid number is as an option to choose for type of call.. maybe you could explain?
They wanted to speak about a (fictitious) car accident I was involved in. Do not answer!

Got called today by a female with a Scouse voice stating that she was form "Fresh Contacts" and asking if I am been in an accident. Funnily enough (and the truth, but may use this excuse even so if it changes for me) I don t drive, so I told her this and then she proceeded to ask if I had been a passenger in an accident or if I had been on public transport. received a call from this number it's a claims company for injuries funny thing is I've not had an accident yet!!!
Got call from guy trying to sell Anglian windows, when i said i wasnt interested and told him i should not receive marketing calls anyway on my line, he kept calling me and then putting the phone down, this happening about 20 times in one evening. Avoid them like the plague.
