Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Called me today. Tried to return the call but call fails; number blocked

I think this was a fraud check call from Bank of Scotland that I answered and was then transferred to the customer service dept which wasn t answered promptly. I hung up, but this resulted in a 27p charge for me. Not a lot, but a good scam if you manage it for a lot of people!

Called at 20.15PM on June 6th 2017. Knew name and address. They said they left an energy tester! Also they would be calling for it tommorrow. We said no not interested. They then nastily said we will be there at 2pm anyway! I phoned local police. They said harassment caller also the number was a leeds number but the 4 after 0113 is not a leeds number. Some kind of generated number.

Friendly number

Had a couple of missed calls from this number yesterday. Answered a call from them today. They asked for me by name and said they were called Motor Assist and calling about a car accident. I told them I hadn t been in one and that they d been given the wrong information. They hung up on me without even as much as a goodbye. Number blocked.
