After checking this site (and hearing from my daughter that she had received an email from M&S with the same details) I can confirm this number is currently for M&S

I politely told him that I had told his "National Consumer Survey" that I wasn t really interested in taking part but - as I always do - wished him a good shift. Text Message supposedly from NatWest regarding a payment attempt and giving a URL to verify the payment. Suffice to say I didn't!
Dont know who it was or what they wanted i dont let them get that far. As soon as i hear my full name asked for in broken englist i terminate the call.

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.

The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.
