SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Managed to waste 8 minutes of her time before hanging up and blocking.

It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. This number called me in today on my landline at 12:45. I answered, they hung up. I rang back, it rang then disconnected. I live in Scotland, the number is from York. I used my mobile to call, same result. What was the point of the call if they have no intention of communicating. There is a point but I am left wondering what!

They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!
