They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.

One of many similar calls, third time this week. Same automated female voice telling me that two unauthorized transactions on my Amazon account and an international money order have been made this morning and that I should press one or two on my keypad for further details, I hung up again.

Received a text from this number, claiming to be from Evri (the new name for Hermes), saying they'd missed a delivery, and wanted £1.45 for redelivery. I googled Evri and and according to them it's a scam, to get your bank details and Mt your account.

Tried to call me. Didn’t pick up as I’ve been getting a bunch of these assholes try to call me when I know what they’re trying to do. Hack into my phone. WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.

SCAM supposedly from the Bank - 2 suspected transactions one from Amazon for £300 and another from for £1100 International Bank money transfer - if you didn’t authorise press 1 to speak to someone - didn’t- now blocked.
