Caller claims to be from Sky, saying that me equipments warranty has expired. Told him I wasn't with Sky and ended the call.
Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
The caller didn't say anything and then hanged up.

This number calls and claims to be investors. Very rude individuals who call and push you to invest and they are so rude when you decline. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!! I have recieved 2 calls from this number, both times the person reports to be from Amazon Business and seeking that I set up a business account. Amazon have checked this out and its definitely not them, so must therefore be a nuisance or scam. The person calling knows your name.
