Standard you have a virus scammer, saying they were from TalkTalk. They are using the hacked TalkTalk customer details list.

Silent call! When it's silent call, no one leaves a message it's flipping infuriating! So I would be aware, let them talk first, if not, simply hang up!
Tripe about life insurance - the caller refused to terminate the call when requested, insisting that it was very important. He wouldn t end the call in spite of my taunts and finally terminated the call when I used a personal attack alarm (rated at 130dB)

Caller asked me also to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Fealing un easy I said call me back in 5 mins after I could check him out. Found this thread immediately blocked the number on my Pro Call Blocker box i found on ebay for ?25.

I received called this number pretending to be from Lowri back and that they were advise by my gas provider to change my meter, I called back lowri beck and my gas provider and they didn t provide any such instructions. BIG time SCAM

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. Fraud, it was an automated message claiming to be HMRC saying theres a fraud case against me. Then it asked me to press 1 to listen to information regarding the case. I hung up and blocked the number.
Be very careful of whoever s calling you from the number it s a scammer don t give your bank details or pay any money for whatever reason

Fraud - Recorded message stating there was a tax fraud in my name and I needed to press 1 to be connected to HMRC. If I did not press 1 it threatened that a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I did not press 1 as felt this was not an appropriate way for HMRC to contact people in relation to this type of matter.

A really badly recorded message informing me that my internet service is being discontinued because (presumably) I haven't paid my bill. It seems to be my lucky week as they called 4 times yesterday from different 01606 prefixes. May their crotches be infested with fleas.
