I managed to keep this caller on the line for about 10 minutes. I was told they were to help with Windows problems. I asked for an address and was given 15 Victoria Street London. The helpline number is 0800 031 4414. The first person was female with a foreign accent and mentioned Las Vegas USA then South East Asia and India when I asked where their base was. After dozens of missed calls from this number - I never answer a number I do not recognise - I rang back the 0207 number and got a recorded message with another number to call to unsubscribe - 0207 619 7888. You need to quote the number they ve called you on and tell them it s Shelter, as they re obviously a telemarketing company with a number of clients. I donated to Shelter by text and since then have been plagued by these calls at all hours. Waiting to see if they re as good as their word...
