hate this type of call where no-one is on the end of the phone when answered.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Got a call on 26 May at 12:03, no one on the other side, just hung up. Got a phone call from another unknown number same day from same area (01743562667). Again no one on the other side. Very annoying! I suspect it might be someone trying to scam vulnerable people during coronavirus.

For about the 20th time. I m on tps as well and good ole Julie has promised to remove my number so many times. This company lies (I ve not been in any car accident and you know it!) and they treat removal requests with contempt.

They called up asking if I had recently been involved in a car crash. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. They said the name very quickly at the beginning of the call. They quickly said that they will take my number off of their database and then they hung up. Feb 13 2019 12:50pm. Hung up after two rings. Sheer ignorance! Number not recognised, so now blocked.

BNRoptions I never answered but somehow they had my work email address and they emailed me. they called twice in a row. Basically some financial investment nonsense.

I ve had this number call me several times. Sometimes they have hung up before I can answer, sometimes it is late at night!!!!! If you are in a Union which is related to the Labour party, i.e Unite and it is Corbyn and his mates, I guess this is where you money is going!! I never have voted for you, and never will!
