Scam. Automated call stating it was Amazon Financial Services and that I would be charged £39.99 for Amazon Prime. Stated that I should select ‘1’ to discuss the matter. Repeated same message then disconnected. May be using genuine number to attempt to make call seem legitimate.
SCAM Called saying she was wondering if I had been involved in a no fault accident. I asked if she was telling me or asking me. And if she was calling from Liverpool. She said "oh, I see" and something about removing me from their lists. Presumably I can look forward to other scammers calling about this fictitious prang over the coming months.

Call center: Indian sounding lady called me and asked for me by name. I asked why she was calling & she said again "Are you Mrs ****?" . I asked who wanted to know. She didn't say. Told her to hurry up as I was about to go out and she hung up. Other people have said this number is someone claiming to be from Domestic & General about an expired washing machine warranty.

Its a trustworthy number as its AO.COM. I bought an appliance recently and they were confirming everything. Unfortunately, the guy was persistent on setting up a domestic and general insurance for £7 a month. Annoying as the appliance comes with 2 years warranty. If I wanted D&G warranty i d go to D&G and get it. Please do not cold call customers pushing for the sale of this its unwanted.

Woman with bad English reading from a script. Said she was from british gas and wanted us to give our postcode, account number and meter number. We said no and she said she would ring back. Obviously a dodgy call centre as other people have said other companies and reasons for the call! BLOCKED!!
DailyTelegraph trying to get me to resubscribe after i cancelled my subscription a couple of weeks ago. I just hung up and blocked the number, have not received any other calls from them from other numbers yet.

This random number calls me today 06/11/20 time; 12: 35hrs recording stating this is a call from the HMRC, you have been picked up on fraud attempt and need to press key1 on the phone or a arrest warrant will be taken against you! Total fraud I think why would HMRC send an automated message to press1
